How will my order be shipped? Do you ship outside the US?

All domestic orders are sent via US Postal Service First Class. International orders are sent USPS First Class International via Globegistics, an eCommerce mailing service that has enabled me to bring your postage cost way down! Your order will typically be sent out within 2 days, and then you'll receive a confirmation email with a tracking link. Domestic First Class shipping usually takes 3-5 business days, and International is about 2 weeks, though it can vary by country. Tracking is available for many, but not all countries.

At this time I am no longer shipping to every country. It was not an easy decision, but after one too many lost packages, I can't in good faith offer shipping everywhere anymore. Available destinations will be shown at checkout, and unfortunately if your country is not shown as an option, I can no longer ship to you. I know this completely sucks and I put off making this decision for a long time, but there's simply not an economical way to send your items to you at this time. Thank you for understanding and please know how sad I am about this. I am so grateful for your support and interest in my work and products.

How much is shipping?? What about customs fees?

Postage is calculated at checkout depending on the overall weight and destination country and can range from $4 to $20+. I work with a fulfillment partner to offer lower international postage prices than previously possible but I know in some cases it can still add up. Orders that include items from multiple sources (a book from me, plus a made-to-order apparel item direct from the printer) will reflect the separate postage fees in one rate.

Customs/import fees vary by country and are the responsibility of the customer. Please be aware that these might be required before a package is released by your local postal service. I am not able to lie on customs forms or otherwise bypass this requirement.

Why is some of your stuff on Amazon and some not?

Everything on this site is designed by me, but not all of it is published/produced by me personally. For example, my books are in collaboration with Penguin Random House. These other publishers often make items available on Amazon, in bookstores, and other retail places where prices may be lower than my own here.

I always want you to purchase from wherever is most economical for you. If you have a giftcard to another store or can save a few bucks, I think that's awesome. If you prefer to purchase directly from me, that's great too. Either way I appreciate that you like what I make and want to own it for yourself. :)

You can see all my stuff that's currently on Amazon here. I earn an affiliate commission when purchases are made via this link!

What's the deal with made to order apparel?

Apparel, hats, tote bags, prints, and a few other items are made to order by a third-party printer. This allows me to offer a wider range of sizes and color options without taking up too much space or guessing on what people might want. The quality is great, and I have been working with the same printer for nearly three years now with very few issues ever. Individual product pages will have sizing and garment information when available.

These items ship to you directly from the printer once they are produced, so it might take an extra few days for them to be made, depending on how many orders the printer has at the time. This also means the items will ship separately from other items in your order, and separately from each other (for example, a print and a t-shirt will ship separately because the print needs to go in a poster tube).

Items shipped direct from the printer do not come with any tiny bonus surprises (usually I include a mini pencil in my orders – hopefully I haven't ruined the surprise by writing this here).

What is your return policy?

I generally can not accept returns. In the case of damaged items (which may very rarely happen) I am always happy to work with you on a replacement or refund.

A thing I love isn't for sale anymore! ADAM, WHAT DID YOU DO, WHERE IS IT????

A lot of items are created in small batches or as one-off ideas and when they're gone, they're gone! If you really love something, don't wait! It's the worst feeling when something is sold out for good and I have to reply to your email and tell you that. I'm mainly just trying to have fun and make nice stuff and sometimes I get bored or tired of something or it's a flop (lmao) and I never reprint. I also suggest joining my email list for infrequent updates on restocks, new items, and other projects. Also it's a fun email usually.
